Summary
The Bed and Breakfast is located in historic Central Virginia, "Jefferson Country". The Appalachian Trail and TransAmerica Route 76 Bike Trail are close by. The farm adjoins Mint Springs Park, which is laced with good hiking and biking trails and features two lakes for fishing and swimming.
Each season at Wayland Orchard has its own attractions. Spring flowers lead to the orchard in full boom; Summer provides relaxed comfort and recreation; Fall: the delight of the apple harvest, cider making, and sugar maples in full color; and Winter: the birds, the views, the quietude of a farm at rest. We don't pretend to be elegant, just comfortable and affordable.
