Cherry Wood Bed, Breakfast and Barn is a working farm producing a variety of apples, cherries and grapes. Stroll through the orchards, take a bike tour or horseback ride to the many wineries within a 10-mile radius. Sit in the porch swing, take in the view and watch the horses frolic in the pasture. Be as active or as restful as you like. Savor our fine food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Ranch-raised in the orchard and wine country of eastern Washington, owner Pepper Fewel not only knows her Cabernets from her Syrahs, she knows her horses. A lifelong horsewoman, she has competed in cutting and other ranch horse events. Pepper has hosted numerous training clinics at Cherry Wood, where some of the country’s most admired trainers have come to share their knowledge and love of horses.
Mount up on one of our seasoned horses for a guided trail ride through the vineyards to nearby wineries. Rides include horse rental, stops at selected wineries, picnic lunch and delivery of wine purchases to Cherry Wood.
For an intimate adventure in the wine country, bed down in one of our stylish teepees. Barbeque grills, compact refrigerators, separate super-clean and private water closets, along with an open-air shower round out the amenities.Horse facilities and dog accommodations by arrangement. We are a real working farm with animals and agriculture activities and cannot accommodate children.
