Summary
Dog Mountain Farm serves the Snoqualmie Valley community and Seattle area by providing Certified Naturally Grown farm-fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs, herbs, flowers, and poultry meat. Our spectacular location, love of food, wine, and entertaining and our passion for educating the public about local agriculture and sustainable living has culminated in the creation of a new bed and breakfast here at the farm. In addition to our platform tent, we also offer camping sites.
You may design your stay to suit your interests. There are many wonderful seasonal activities on and off the farm, which we can help plan. Or you can simply "hang" and enjoy the peace and quiet of this retreat. For children, we offer a young farmers program for families staying two nights or more. Chores include daily feeding and watering of the animals (horses, poultry, dogs, cats), collecting eggs, putting the animals to bed, grooming the horses; seasonally planting and harvesting produce, fruit tree pruning, and beekeeping.
The 14 x 16 canvas platform tent has a queen bed with night stands, table and chairs, and lanterns. We have a bunk bed cot for additional guests. Community toilet/shower and cooking facilities are available a short walking distance from the tent. Campsites are also available in various locations on the farm with access to toilet/shower and cooking facilities.
You can enjoy canoeing and river tubing on the Tolt and Snoqualmie Rivers, hiking, biking, golf, antiquing, shopping, wine touring, farmers markets, Snoqualmie Falls, and Seattle is just 45 minutes from the farm. We have information on many local events and can help you plan a variety of outings.
