Summary
Who’s behind A Wise Choice Dairy and Farmstay? We’re Heidi and John Wise, two middle-aged, fiercely independent people who found enough common ground to marry each other and begin some of life’s biggest challenges when most folks our age are looking forward to their retirement.
One of those challenges was to start our own business in dairy farming and hospitality. After ten years of searching, we finally found the right place for our venture in Chetek, Wisconsin. On May 28, 2010, A Wise Choice Dairy & Farmstay came into being. On August 12, 2010, we milked our first cows here. We have many hopes and dreams for our farm and community; this site provides a forum for us to share our journey with you.
