Summary
The Hartville area of Southeastern Wyoming is steeped in history. Here you can find peace and serenity, wildlife and outdoor activities, and, of course, the Kindness Ranch. Kindness Ranch is an animal sanctuary that rescues animals from laboratory settings and rehabilitates them then finds them forever homes.
As a Kindness Ranch member, you can stay in one of our beautiful yurts. Use it as a base while you visit local sites or stay here and help us care for the animals. The founder built beautiful one- and two-room guest "yurts," which are fully appointed modern and spacious cabins. Our county permit requires that at least one guest be a member, which is an annual donation of at least $25. We have tasks and chores we always need help with. If you're more "project oriented" with special skills and can stay at least a few nights, we offer discounted rates.
Come and be a part of the heartwarming work with animals here at Kindness Ranch! From petting cats to brushing the horses, we have all kinds of opportunities for volunteers to match their interests and physical abilities. Our animals love the special attention you bring, and it is an important part of the rehabilitative process!
