Summary
Experience a taste of the West by riding horses at Kingfisher Bend Ranch. Explore the Ranch’s trails across our 1,260 acres and view wild animals, cattle, great birds, and beautiful scenery. Livestock at the Ranch includes our small "fold" (herd) of photogenic, long-haired, long-horned, Scottish Highland cattle, our saddle horses, and the more normal Red Angus and Black Angus.
Horseback riding is free to guests staying at the Ranch. We also provide riding instruction in our outdoor arena. Young children can ride under the supervision of the Ranch manager and be led by an adult. All activities involving horses are led and supervised by the Ranch manager.
There are many wonderful activities available at the Ranch depending on the season. Fair weather activities include guided horseback riding (free to guests), hiking, river and pond fishing, campfires, boating, swimming and exploring. The Ranch also has a basketball/pickleball court, a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and a Frisbee golf course. Winter activities include guided snowmobile rides, cross country skiing and snowshoeing . In addition, there is much to do in the nearby Uinta Mountains in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest; Park City, Utah; and Evanston, Wyoming.
