Summary

Our beautiful, quiet location and comfortable cabin lodging provides a great setting for getting away from it all.  Peace and quiet are abundant here. You can join in the activites that we have to offer or just take in the magnificent scenery and solitude.

We are within a short driving distance to the Town of Story and the cities of Buffalo and Sheridan where there are great opportunities for historical sigtseeing, photography, fine dining and shopping.

Learn how to ride a horse or increase your skills if you've ridden before. We have a large indoor riding arena, large outdoor rodeo arena and an even larger ranch with wide open spaces for a great riding experience!  Little Piney Ranch offers great horseback riding opportunities for all ages and all riding skill levels. We have guided horseback rides into the spectacular Big Horn Mountains. Scenic opportunities are endless in the Big Horn Mountains, so be sure to bring a camera.

There is endless beautiful scenery on the ranch and the region. Wildlife frequently seen on the ranch include pronghorn antelope, whitetailed deer, mule deer, upland game birds such as Wild Turkeys, Grouse and Ringnecked Pheasant. During certain times of the year, bald eagles and other birds of prey can also be seen in the area. We offer catch and release trout fishing on Little Piney Ranch.
