We have a working ranch that provides you with a flavor of true country living. During the Spring and into the Summer, enjoy the beauty of various types of flowers that dot the hills and pastures. Explore the many different rock formations that are a part of our ranch. Step back in time and imagine the settlers crossing the prairie before you. See some of the sites they viewed on their way West. Imagine their hopes and aspirations as they challenged the Western Plains.
Wildlife viewing, while unpredictable, may include mule deer, elk, antelope, bob cats, coyotes or a mountain lion. Numerous smaller animals visit us regularly. Bird watchers may see eagles, hawks, meadowlarks, magpies and vultures as well as many smaller birds. At the base of Tea Kettle Rock, the namesake of our ranch, visit Indian teepee rings. The land where we live is varied and beautiful, season by season, and pictures don't do it justice.
On a clear day you can see forever from our plateau top location. Enjoy a magnificent view from the deck or dining table while savoring a hearty breakfast. In the evening unwind with homemade pie and coffee as you watch the sun paint the Western sky behind Laramie Peak 60 miles away. When the colors of sunset fade to black, gaze at the stars for an awesome nighttime adventure. Drift peacefully to sleep in one of six queen beds after enjoying the clean fresh air and the stillness of wide, open spaces. Experience relaxed western hospitality where we treat our guests as family.
