Summary
The Willow Creek Ranch at the Hole-In-The-Wall is a beautiful, 57,000 acre, actively operating cattle and horse ranch. It is located on the South Big Horn - Red Wall Back Country Scenic Byway, sixty miles north of Casper and thirty-five miles southwest of Kaycee, Wyoming. The famous red wall, approximately 350' high and composed of red sandstone, forms about 18 miles of its boundary on the east and south sides of the ranch, and is home to many species of birds, including pigeons, falcons and eagles.
The various day-to-day activities at Willow Creek Ranch are typical of a large cattle operation and guests are invited to join in such things as branding, riding fence and checking on and moving the herd. The ranch's specialty is a working cowboy vacation, but we will tailor your visit to meet your exact needs. The ranch boasts over 10 miles of excellent German Brown Trout waters along Buffalo Creek.
We will schedule anything from riding and camping in tents or tepees, trout fishing, driving cattle or branding after roundup, exploring, bird watching, photography trips, painting or just sitting and reading. We have three campsites set up complete with chuckwagons and tepees for camping out under the stars and sampling wonderful dutch-oven cooking. When not camping out under the stars, guests can choose to stay at either the ranch headquarters, cowboy bunkhouse, or a remote cabin on the prairie.
