Online Resources for the Business of Farming

Farm Stay U.S. is run by farmers who host farm stays in addition to their regular agricultural operations. As such we are always looking for resource materials that will help us run our farm businesses in a better, safer, more productive fashion.  Following is a growing list of websites we have found to provide us with just such information:

Rural Tax Education (USDA)

Building Farmers in the West (USDA NIFA) business handouts for beginning farmers and more

Top 10 Produce supplies barcodes and QR labels for small farm operations that link directly to the farm's website

Agritourism Safety Guides put out by the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation in association with the National Children's Center for Rural and Agricultural Health and Safety
